My dad is really into DIY projects, and also loves to cook. He taught me the basics in the kitchen, which led us to needing to sharpen our knives after we grilled out one night.

We bought a knife sharpening kit, and were so happy with how much easier it was to chop vegetables and meat after we sharpened our knife set.

Then I thought, what if I could make this into a business and help other people who love to cook with a task that, let’s face it, is one that’s easy to put off — but important for every kitchen. Dull knives are the worst, and sometimes you don’t even realize how dull they are until after they’ve been sharpened.
